Traveling

We had to travel to the capital city for some paperwork last week. We spent about five days there. We didn't really get to do any of the 'touristy' things because we were quite busy visiting various governmental offices. We certainly did EAT! We had pizza, Italian food, Mexican food, good breads and ice cream. It was a delicious trip

I'm just sayin' - that's Mt. Everest out of the window of our plane. Which prompted me to read the book, 'Into Thin Air' when we got home. The book really disturbed me, and it's taking me a few days to process it.

This is the boys at one of the eateries we visited where there was a large, flat screen TV. We don't have a TV, so here they are completely enthralled by Spiderman.

Ice Cream - note the Baskin Robbins sign in the background!
We did a bit of shopping while we were there because in the capital there is lots of cool stuff that we can't get in our neck of the woods. We saw some awesome stuff, but who can resist a Frams Torner? Even though it was only about $2, we didn't buy it. The store owner was also not too jazzed about our photographing his merchandise, but words alone just can't do that justice.
